The House passed a supplemental funding bill (H.R. 2642) that would block harmful Medicaid regulation aimed at restricting rehabilitative, case management, and school-based services. This compromise bill, negotiated by House leaders and the Administration, now goes to the Senate for its approval.
Also, with your help, Congress was persuaded to end discriminatory mental-health policy in Medicare by phasing out a 50% copay requirement on outpatient mental health treatment.
