The Disability Voting Coalition of PA (DVC of PA) is a growing, cross-disability organization of people committed to improving the voting experiences of people with disabilities. According to the US Census, approximately 2 million voting age Pennsylvanian’s have disabilities – more than 20% of potential voters. These individuals could represent a powerful voting bloc but face obstacles when it comes time to vote. The DVC of PA focuses on voting rights, access to voting and voter education in the hope of building an effective coalition across the Commonwealth that addresses voting issues encountered by people from all disability groups.
