Public Education

Public Education provides education, training, and information to various community groups on a variety of topics around mental health. A majority of these trainings fall under the Education Institute, which was developed to offer community-centered trainings on a range of mental health topics.  Trainings are offered throughout the year at the MHAAC offices in East Liberty, but primarily are offered in the community. Many of these trainings can be adapted or adjusted to align with organizational needs.

If you are interested in hosting, participating in, or scheduling a training, please contact Sarah Rosso, Director of Public Education, at 412-661-7860 ext. 2025 or srosso@mhaac.net

Know how to offer hope

Know how to get help and save a life
